Digital multiplier circuit for coded numbers - has control circuit using single pulse generator coupled to logic coupled to flip=flops

The electronic digital circuit is used for the multiplication of coded numbers that are generated internally following the keyboard entry of decimal values. The circuit provides processing of decimal point position. A control circuit based upon a number of modules provides the required gating signals for the arithmetic processing. One of the control modules (16) is based upon the use of a single pulse generator circuit (29), rather than the two of earlier versions. This combines with a pulse changeover stage (32), AND gates (34 - 38), an OR circuit and a flip-flop. ADVANTAGE - Uses only single pulse generator.
