The appts. which is useful when the locking projection (2) of one part (1) has passed through the opening (4) of the second part (1'), has a scanner (6) at the nominal position of a correctly locked projection (2). USE/ADVANTAGE - The appts. is used for the assembly of components from parts which are clipped together, plastic parts for automobile and other vehicle bumpers. The scanner automatically indicates the parts are correctly locked together and, on a fault, shows whether the projection has distorted on assembly or whether it has not passed correctly through the opening of the other part.
