Solar-powered energy plant - using mirrors with reflection material provided by reflective foil applied to cheap lightweight backing

The plant comprises a tower with solar panels etc. on to which the sun's rays are directed via mirrors using a reflection material with a diffuse wide angle reflection characteristic. The reflection material is cheap and lightweight, e.g. Al foil applied to a cardboard backing, which can be separated readily into sections. Pref. reflection material comprises an Al coating or foil applied to one side of a cardboard carrier which is coated on the opposite side with a weather-resistant plastics. ADVANTAGE - Allows reflectors to be adjusted easily dependent on sun's position, without expensive tracking control.
