The gear machine has two externally meshing gear wheels (14, 15) with sealing bushes lying against their side faces. A compressible volume (26) is enclosed by the double engagement of two pairs of teeth. Triangular depressions (27, 28) are arranged in the sealing bushes (16, 17) such that each depression extends across the space (26) between the meshing teeth. The depressions are formed as blind holes and are open to the gear wheels. USE/ADVANTAGE - Triangular depressions reduce the amount of noise caused by pressure pulsation in the sealing zone.
