The vibrating force is superimposed on the force thrusting the plates home and acts in the plane of the respective plate and typically in the direction of insertion (Y). Several vibrators can be used, each with a driven rotary eccentric weight (18). The plate can be positively held in a tool (13) guided in a frame (6) and which transmits the forces to it. Vibration can be at a frequency of between 15 and 900 Hz. ADVANTAGE - No need to open up the masonry.
