The frame has the same dimensions as the housing in which it is retained by catches (12,13) near its four corners. In an alternative embodiment the frame and its cover are combined. ADVANTAGE - The enlargement of the sidewalls of the housing enables additional optical waveguides to be inserted with space left for their ends.
