The ball bolt (2) is freely pivotable with its ball part in a hemi-spherical grooving of the ball bush (3) and thus forms the actual link. The ball of the bolt evolves into a cylindrical connection via a transition area, which connection so fits into the bolt accommodation bush that it forms with the bolt a play-free unit. The cylindrical bolt connection area and the bolt accommodation bush are joined together by a thread and are therefore adjusted in relation to one another and tensioned axially. The hemispherical grooving of the ball bush (1) has a coating of e.g. polytetrafluoroethylene, molybdenum disulphide or substances with C60 mol. chains. The ball part of the ball bolt has an overcoat of e.g. MOS2, or is hard anodised, as with Al. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used in the mfr. of tennis racquets.
