The system is mounted on pedestals. The top (5) and base (7) of each pedestal (3) are regular pentagons joined by sidewalls at equal angles ( alpha ) of 108 deg. Of the two active sidewalls (9,11) which adjoin each other, one carries a tweeter (13) above a woofer (17), while on the other sidewall the loudspeakers are transposed. The left-hand and right-hand channel pedestals are disposed so that the respective sidewalls having the woofers uppermost are angled towards each other, the tweeter-uppermost sidewalls away from each other, and the rear walls (33) in a common plane. ADVANTAGE - Vertical position of listener can be varied without incurring any change of tone.
