The system consists of a valve block with suction valve, pressure valve, ventilation valve with accompanying closing spring, bypass valve with bypass pipe and finally a control piston with plunger for the ventilation valve. A pipe connects the pressure side of the compressor to the control piston in the valve block. A pressure relief valve links pipe to the pipe from the suction side of the compressor to the suction valve in the block. The bypass pipe has a throttle valve and there is a non-return valve in the pipe between the pressure valve in the block and the condenser.
