The appts. has at least one test head (8,9) connected to a feed system (6,7) which moves the test head into the chamber (15) to be tested. The feed system consists of a flexible but axially stiff hollow body. The hollow body can be an armoured tube or linked hollow body. The test head has a video camera, an illumination system, seals, test sensors for leak testing or working devices. Each measurement device in the test head is connected to a central current source and an evaluation unit (2) via its own current supply cable and data cable which run inside the feed arrangement (6). USE/ADVANTAGE - E.g. for testing channels, flues and pipelines, waste water lines etc.. Simple, reliable, universally applicable device is very mobile and enables rapid, economical testing.
