A process is for registering imbalance in household washing machines which incorporate an electronic measuring device for speed fluctuations, an electronic speed control unit, an electronic imbalance control system for spinning monitoring and a reversible laundry drum. The speed fluctuations of the two reversing directions of rotation are measured within washing and rinsing processes and compared to a preset max. limit value. ADVANTAGE - The process detects and eliminates unacceptable imbalance values during the washing process and the rinsing process i.e. earlier than directly before the spinning start.
