The flexible fastening for the mixing tube (8) for the combustion chamber of a gas turbine engine is designed to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction. There is a conical intermediate ring (6) with an outward-turned flange bolted (3,4) to a flange on an attachment (2) on the flame tube (1). There is a narrow cooling channel (15) between the intermediate ring and the conical wall of the mixing tube. The narrow end of the ring is fastened to the mixing tube via a corrugated distance piece (7). USE/ADVANTAGE - Fastening for flame tube in gas turbine engine allows passage of cooling air and accommodates thermal expansion and contraction.
