Hang-glider towing cable release system - may be worn on belt forming part of harness attaching pilot to hang-glider

The release mechanism is for a towing cable for a glider or a hang-glider and may be operated by the pilot. It may be worn on a belt forming part of the harness attaching the pilot to the hang-glider. There is a cross belt in front, extending across the pilot's chest between two straps (3,4) going over the pilot's shoulders. A cross-member (1) above the chest belt (5) carries the release mechanism (2). There may be a pull toggle for this release. USE/ADVANTAGE - Hang-glider towing cable release system is convenient to use without endangering pilot, with cable being kept away from pilot's head, neck and shoulders.
