The roller (1) is encircled by two microwave tightened matched bearing shells (2) so that the grill swivelling unit, led through the muffle wall, is connected outside the muffle by a pressure plate (3). This presses on a contact metal sheet (4) and a guide angle (6). A microwave blocking filter is formed by the contact metal sheet (4) protected against lateral movement by the angle guide (6). The pressure plate presses the sheet (4) and the guide angle (6) against the rear wall of the oven and the bearing shells (2). The grilling unit is held e.g. magnetically, automatically swivelably controlled by a programme. ADVANTAGE - Microwave tight swivel unit which is stable, heat resistant and microwave sealed. It possesses long term constancy.
