The vehicle generator output voltage raising device allows the output lines of the stator winding system (W), providing induced voltages upon rotation of the generator energising coil (E), to be coupled to earth depending on the amplitude of the current. Pref. the output lines are coupled to earth via controlled switches which are controlled by a voltage regulator (1) between the vehicle battery (B) and the energising coil, which is coupled to the output lines via diodes.
