The sequential display system may be for information or advertising. It uses a large number of flexible plates or sheets (11a-i) which are held in a magazine (10). Each individual flexible plate has two hooks (12a,b) on the back, engaging with hooks (20e,f) on a transport belt (20c,d). When the belt moves, the plate (11i) in front of the display window (31) is moved into a channel (50) leading to the back of the magazine. The plate (11h) arriving at the back is moved into place by rollers (60a,b). The stored plates (11f-a) work their way to the front until they pick up the first transport system (20) and are moved through a channel (40) going round one of the rollers (20a).
