Operation of memory for object oriented program - storing objects which are no longer required in intermediate storage, and storing object start address and identifier in table located in background secondary memory
Operation of memory for object oriented program - storing objects which are no longer required in intermediate storage, and storing object start address and identifier in table located in background secondary memory
For an object-oriented program, the object must be dynamically loaded into the application memory (SP) and before this is filled the processor must control access. Error conditions are avoided by protecting the object with the aid of a background memory (HSP). This operates together with the processor (PR) and the application memory (SP) in which the object (DO) is stored. Other objects (DO3,DO4) may be stored for other program cycles. ADVANTAGE - Prevents, by transfer to background memory, possibility of interruption of program, whenever user intends to erase object.
