Pivot for tensioning machine saw blade with wedges producing pivot torque - has pivots pressed against side on which they are connected to saw blade and against upper edge of lower frame plate, exerting vertical force
On the pivot shaft end, on which the wedge (3) is arranged is located a cross piece with shortened locating surface, which has a locating surface against the wedge, which is below the resultant end of the tension force (F). Alternatively, on the pivot shaft end, on which the wedge (3) is arranged, a holder stirrup (7) supports at the top on the frame plate (8) or another part fixed to the frame, and is in pressure connection with the lower edge of the pivot shaft (2) by a specific force (P). This force (P) is located nearer to the end of the pivot shaft (2) at which the cross piece (5) is located than the contact surface between wedge (3) and cross piece (5). The pivot shaft (3) at this end is located slightly above the upper edge of the lower frame plate (8). USE/ADVANTAGE - The pivot for tensioning a saw blade is not diagonally inclined in the frame opening when the wedges are driven in.
