An identification carrier (1) takes the form of a label or a plate which is fastened on an object (4). After being removed from the object (4), the label leaves nondissolvable traces on it. At least a part of the rear side of the identification carrier (1) incorporates sublimation paint or corrosive substance. USE/ADVANTAGE - The product is for an inconspicuous marking of objects to prove theft or forgery. The printed image on the reverse side of the label is not disturbed even when the label is handled carelessly.
