Arrangement for instantaneous sealing of street drains esp. gullies comprises a container (2) contg. at least 2 mutually chemically reactable components separately stored which react after removal of the separating foil or membrane and produce an expanded hardenable foam. The container is arranged in a flexible box of a size for covering the street drain. The foam resin is e.g. polyethylene, polyurethane, silicone resin or epoxy resin. USE - To prevent damaging material falling down the drains, e.g. explosive, poisonous etc. material resulting from an accident or spillage.
