A vacuum tank (1) made up of two working parts (1,3) has a single (4) or double base made in one unit. A capillary support unit (3) defines, with the tank, a water area (11) being separated from but in connection with reservoirs (10). The root ball chamber (7) is fed with water by capillary action from the water area. There is a water level indicator on the tank which is fed from the reservoirs by a ventilation through hole (1d). The working parts of the tank are flanked by containers (2,5). USE/ADVANTAGE - For caring for plants over a long period of time. Can be used for any type of plant, either indoors or outdoors and can water, ventilate and fertilise plant.
