Method of filling pipe trenches with concrete - involves keeping dry concrete ingredients in silo on vehicle which is brought to trench edge and then adding water to mixture in mixing and conveying machine just before pouring

The dry basic material comprising a sand-fine gravel-cement mixture is kept in a silo (1) in a vehicle. The vehicle is brought to a pipe trench near a platform. Before the mixture is let out of the silo, water ,from a container (3) on the vehicle, is introduced into it and mixed in with it. The mixture is then fed out by a conveying and mixing machine (2). Alternatively, the concrete mixture can be poured into the trench direct from the vehicle by a slide or conveyor belt. USE/ADVANTAGE - For filling trenches in roads when laying pipes. Provides for fine regulating and simple distribution of the cement and thus there is little material waste. Has quick loading of the silo.
