In equipment esp. for cutting laminated safety glass, having pane take-up and take-off devices and a cutting, breaking and separating device arranged for (almost) vertical handling of the panes, the novelty is that a manipulator (9) is provided with a controller esp. for pane positioning and is pref. located at the cutting, breaking and separating device. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for cutting three or more layer, laminated safety glass, but also for cutting other materials such as wood and plastics. The equipment allows simple and accurate positioning and cutting at any desired angle to a preceding cut, allows effortless handling (i.e. breaking and repositioning) without the need for extra personnel and allows automatic control.
