A device for producing extracts of dry substances consists of a solvent container within which is a container for receiving the dry substances. The internal container has solvent inlet and outlet openings. The entire vol. of solvent in the solvent container (1) passes through the dry substance container (2). USE/ADVANTAGE - For producing extracts of e.g. plant materials,and esp. tea leaves. A more effective extraction is achieved without the use of mechanical flow-inducing means.
