The V-shaped sectioned casting (6) has a downward sloping flange (7) on the top wide lengthwise edge. The flange is suspended at any point in the rectangular chamber of a profiled frame (3), by a longitudinal slot. On the casing underside, a flange with a tightening screw rests against the underside of the profiled frame. The casting has a hole through it for a screw bolt (10) which passes through a threaded hole in a milled rimmed drive disc (11) protruding through a slit in the casting. The upper side of the screw bolt has a flat part with a hole in for fixing the screw to a table top holder. USE/ADVANTAGE - The height of the desk top can easily be adjusted by suspending a tubular frame into a longitudinal slit.
