The telescopic column at each corner has a bottom guide part (3) at least part of which protrudes into the foot (2) part and is fixed to the base frame (1). The column has a top part (4) which moves axially along the guide part between a retracted and extended position. The top part moves into the space between two adjacent columns in its extended position. The bottom guide part and or the top part are in the form of rectangular sectioned hollow profiles. The top part fits into the bottom guide part leaving clearance between them. USE/ADVANTAGE - Folding carrier supports heavy loads and can be folded up and stacked. It can be used on continuous shelving, conveyors. It has corner uprights or sides which can be automatically stopped.
