The load support traverse consists of a four-link frame (5) displaceable in the swing direction. The frame consists of two horizontal coupling links, a top (8) and a lower support (9), and a right- and left-hand lashing strap (10). The two top hinge points are the axes of the deflection pulleys (6), each firmly coupled to a brake disc (11). To each brake disc are functionally coupled two brake jaws (13,14), swivelling on the top support, actuated by a leverage. ADVANTAGE - No need for extra auxiliary cable systems, and damping dependent on hoisting load distribution.
