On the outside of the belt are outwardly protruding projections (2) which have holders (7) at their outer ends. The projections support a part ring (5) in which the frame can slide round to an extension position (9) which will hold the frame horizontal. In the folded up position, the frame can be locked to the belt. The extension frame (9) is movable in the guide ring (5) by slidable rollers. The guide track has a supporting arm to accommodate and support the extension frame. ADVANTAGE - The users hands are free while the map or document held in the frame is retained in a readable position, and may even be employed to write on.
