Adjustment of car-seat using two rails which are moved relative to each other - has seat rail with teeth and fixed rail with locking element of matching teeth, locked/unlocked by spring lever
Adjustment of car-seat using two rails which are moved relative to each other - has seat rail with teeth and fixed rail with locking element of matching teeth, locked/unlocked by spring lever
A car seat is adjusted in position by means of movement of two intermeshed rails with respect to each other, one rail (or both) having teeth and a locking element between them, which can be manually or electrically operated. One rail (2) is fixed to the car chassis, the other (1) is attached to the seat. In this example, the teeth are on the lips (10a) of the latter rail and the locking element with corresponding teeth (8a, 9a) protrude through an opening in the first (fixed) rail to a chamber (3) below it. To unlock or unlock the elements, there is a spring lever (7,19,20). ADVANTAGE- Inexpensive manual or motorised adjustment of seat position.
