The pump has a pump space (5,9) containing a pump wheel (2) mounted on a pump shaft (8) which is axially supported via the base (126) of a split sleeve pot (12). The base is curved in the direction of the pump space, with a seating (12c) for the pump shaft at the point of max. curvature, with an opposing seating (15) for the driveshaft (14) of the electric drive motor (4). Pref. a curved transition zone is provided between the base and the wall of the cap. ADVANTAGE - Simplified mfr. with pump function unaffected by pressure variations.
