The sleeve inner space is altered by a displacement system engaging the sleeve (11). The sleeve is formed by two sleeve parts (14,15), designed essentially trapezium shaped in cross-section and connected to each other vacuum tight. The useful sleeve inner space (13) is essentially formed by the parallel surfaces (140,150) of the sleeve parts (14,15). Also with flat absorber elements (18), which are arranged essentially running orthogonal to the surfaces (140,150), in the opposite lying side regions (16,17) of the sleeve inner space (13). ADVANTAGE - Gives required degree of freedom. Forms large magnetic fields in region of particle jet. Simple construction which is very cost effective.
