The burner in a part combustion chamber (2) has a tubular evapn. channel (6) with permanent drop, the upper commencement of which has a connection (7) for pressureless oil feed and the lower end with an oil outlet aperture (8) issues into the combustion chamber. The channel has holes (9) for the outlet of evapd. oil into the part combustion chamber. The part combustion chamber has an electrical high voltage ignition (12) and on the floor (3) an electrical additional heater (11) for the start of the burner. It also has an inlet (15) for under-stoichiometric prim. air feed, pref. in the form of tangentially issuing slots in the floor vicinity of the part combustion chamber. USE/ADVANTAGE - The equipment works on the principle of evapn., allowing heating oil to be burnt for low power installations of from approximately 4 to 10 kW. Burns quietly with low emissions.
