The shorter arm has fixture components for subsequent fixture to a spectacles bow and comprising bendable or sprung clamps. On the outside of the spectacles bow (5) a pocket is arranged for pushing in the shorter arm of the fixture clip. The fixture clip (6) is fixed to the spectacles bow (5) with screws or rivets. USE/ADVANTAGE - Spring clips to prevent a pair of spectacles from falling out of a pocket of an article of clothing.
