Illustrated and described is a connection means for bundles of banknotes, stamps, coupons, tickets or the like which is secure against manipulation. The object of the invention is to provide a connection means, in particular for bundles of banknotes, which makes it possible to produce bundles of banknotes in a manner secure against manipulation without damaging individual banknotes. The solution to the object results from the fact that the connection means is constructed as a material blank about which or with which a bundle can be folded in sections at least twice, and that the bundle is re-countably secured after the folding by connection of at least two regions of the material blank.
