The holder secures an upright hollow profiled rail forming a guide for blocks on the slat ends of a roller blind.A holder (1) is fixed to the end of the blind housing, and a boss (5) protruding downwards. The open end (6) of the rail (2) slides and clamps onto the boss from the underside. The external profile of the boss can match the internal one of the rail, so as to form a positive and friction joint between them. The boss can be of square section and open to the under side. Additional fixing devices can be provided, to hold the rail in position on the boss. ADVANTAGE - Easy installation from floor level with no special tools.
