Electrical power distribution system for domestic power supply - passes three=phase AC supply via transformer and converter to rectifier, output of which passes via filter and buffer batteries for distribution in building as DC along screened twisted-pair network
An Alternating current supply (1) is connected via an isolating transformer (2), switching converter (3) and rectifier assembly (4). Rectified output is filtered (15) and connected to buffer batteries (5). The converter (3) is controlled by a regulator to deliver 24V DC at the output. Output supply lines (6,9,10) are twisted-pairs and are routed round the building without loops, possibly in metal conduits. The house wiring is laid out to be free from induced fields. Power output on the direct current network (6,9,10) ranges from 12 to 110V and from 10 to 120 N. ADVANTAGE - Low electrical emission by induced magnetic fields and electric fields produced by house wiring, to avoid harm to humans, causing headaches, and animals.
