The flow measurement arrangement contains two ultrasonic transmitters (2,4) and one ultrasonic receiver (3). The transmitters are arranged at a defined distance apart on the wall (8W) of the pipe (8). The receiver is mounted on the wall of the pipe (8) between the two transmitters. The transmitters are connected to an a.c. voltage generator and operated at the same stimulation frequency. The receiver output is fed to an amplifier (6) whose output is fed to an evaluation circuit (7). The flow speed of the medium is derived from the phase difference of the received reflected signals. USE/ADVANTAGE - Measuring flow speed of medium flowing in pipe. Reduced number of electronic components, minimises coupling costs.
