A slotted insert is provided for the retention of a helmet insert (8) and for accommodation of a helmet lock (6) and bolt (11) and is located on the inner wall and in the cushion area (2) of a slotted chamber (3). For the retention of a protective helmet in the inner area of the helmet there is a tension appts. with two regulatable tension parts and which is connected to a rotary disc and built-in rotary disc lock. The fixture of the helmet insert and tension appts. involves height-adjustable, laterally turnable and rigid retainers. The housing of the tension appts. has a guide stirrup and a lock in regulatable function with a rotary unit. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple system to fix a protective helmet on a bicycle or a motorcycle.
