The speed controller is reactivated by a microcontroller to provide speed valves Vs in defined time intervals, delta (t). The speed valves are obtained by addition of a value delta (v) to a desired valve using the formula: Vsi = Vsi-1 + delta (v), where delta (v) consists of a predetermined value for max. acceleration, bmax, i.e. delta (v) = bmax * delta (t). As long as the actual speed VI is under the stored value Vsp. Delta (v) depends on the difference Vsp-VI. The max. acceleration depends on characteristic vehicle data, motor power, and comfort demands. ADVANTAGE - Stored speed can be reached independent of actual difference between stored value and actual value quickly and smoothly.
