The damper consists of two tubes (14) one introduced inside the other. The outer tube (1) has an inwardly projecting strengthened bulge (7) which engages in a matching recess (17) in the inner tube (4). The distance of the bulge from the common axis (10) of the two tubes is smaller than half the outer diameter (D/2) of the inner tube. The external depressed section of the bulge is filled with a welding seam (9). ADVANTAGE - Has a simpler construction and is reliably effective as a deformation damper.
