Moulding materials (I) are claimed, contg. 80-99 wt.% styrene- and/or substd. styrene-contg. polymer (A) with mean mol. wt. 50,000-150,000 and a narrow mol. wt. distribution, and 1-20 wt.% lubricant (B). Pref. (A) is polystyrene produced by anionic polymerisation, and (B) is paraffinic white oil with mean mol. wt. 500. Pref., (A) has mean mol. wt. 80,000-110,000, with U = M/Mn - 1 = less than 0.1, and is prepd. as described, e.g. in EP341620. Amt. of (B) is 1.5 - 10 wt.%. USE/ADVANTAGE - W.r.t. conventional polystyrene/lubricant compsns., (I) have markedly better flow properties, combined with at least as good impact strength and heat distortion temp.
