Device for determining the mass inertia parameters of a rigid body of any shape

The test body is spatially accelerated within a universally jointed pick-up device and its state of motion and its forces and moments caused by inertia are registered by means of measurement. The coordinates of the centre of gravity and the complete inertia tensor of the test body are calculated with the aid of a computer from the measured state data.
