The set of bricks comprises at least one rectangular whole brick (1) in a predetermined grid arrangement, with connecting surfaces on both lateral face surfaces (12,13) for connection to adjoining bricks (2,3,4). With the whole basic brick, a further three-quarter end brick (2) and a quarter end brick (3) are associated, the first lateral face side of which has a closed brick closure surface (25) and the second lateral face side of which has a connecting surface (14) matching the whole basic brick (1). The connecting surfaces (14) extend over the total height of the bricks and in cross-section have an arc-shaped recess (14') in plan view. Adjoining bricks accommodate a common connecting brick in a U-shaped recess section (14") of the connecting surface (14). USE/ADVANTAGE - A brick combination which can be used in a large number of different building situations.
