An appts. emulsifies and disperses a multi-phase liquid of solid and liquid. The novelty is that the emulsifying unit is located with a high pressure vessel which has a plate element with a hole whose diameter is smaller than that of the supply flow passages in the high pressure vessel. An outlet vertical to the flow passage is joined with the side of the emulsifier plate element at the middle of the flow passage. Fluids transmitted through the emulsifier unit flow passage collide from opposite directions in the middle of the emulsifier unit. Pref. the emulsifier (4) unit is contained within a pressure vessel (1) between two metal seals (2,3). USE/ADVANTAGE - The appts. emulsifies and disperses a multi-phase liquid of solid and liquid such as oil, water and pigments. The appts. facilitates the emulsification of ultra-fine particles or substances incorporating few mutually adhesive particles.
