The locking bolt in retained in a groove of the latch. The door closing mechanism contains an active lever, operationally coupled to the drive mechanism. A passive lever coacts with the door closing mechanism, while a relief lever is incorporated between the active and passive levers. The relief lever is pivotable about the active or passive lever, in order to engage a section of either lever. Pref. the relief lever is mounted rotatably about a protrusion of the passive lever, produced by pressing. USE/ADVANTAGE - For car doors, with simple design, increased security and reliability.
