Ball mounted mechanism for forklift truck - facilitates handling and transport of very large, heavy loads

The forklift truck may have an external drive, and the mechanism has a rotary, pressure mounted support plate (3) loosely coupled to the forklift truck. In operation, the plate face in contact with the load (11) has a friction enhancing coating (8). The mechanism may be easily suspended in the forklift truck. The mechanism consists of a pressure bearing (2), the support plate with a bolt, a dust protector (4) a coupling (5) for the forklift truck, and crown unit (6) with a cotter pin (7). ADVANTAGE - Easy handling, e.g. of heavy metal strip coils, and increased weight distribution.
