The conveyor roller has a support block (11) with support bore (21) and positioning hole (33). They are set in the upper and lower parts of the block so that they run horizontal and face a vertical wall (1) in which a threaded hole (29) and socket hole (34) are likewise formed to run in a horizontal direction. A support cylinder (12) has a cylinder bore (15) and support part (22). The support part fits in the support bore (21) of the block. The support cylinder also has a bearing part (23) supporting a roller part (14). A screw (16) can be inserted through a predetermined annular interspace (17) in the cylinder bore (15) and screwed into the threaded hole (29) so that the support cylinder can be pressed by the screw (16) against the vertical wall. A positioning pin (18) fits into the positioning hole and socket hole. USE/ADVANTAGE - For transporting metal moulds in an injection casting machine. Even if the screw becomes loose during transport the support block and cylinder do not slip.
