The coil spring (10) is located between a seating (11) on the main body of the chainsaw and a seating (6a) on the hand grip housing. Cylindrical rubber bushes (20) are lightly pressed into the two opposite ends of the spring with moulded-in nut inserts (25). Screws (40) can be inserted from the outside of the seatings and screwed through the nut inserts to axially compress the bushes which then radially expand against the coils of the spring and hold it firmly in place. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple, secure and easily assembled fastening for coil spring in chainsaw resulting in low production costs.
