The frame (13) is rotatable about its middle w.r.t. a male connector (14) and has at one end a short shaft (15) engaging in a right-angled slot (19) in the base (20) of the housing (18) of a female connector (12). The size and shape of the slot enables the frame to exert leverage on the male connector so that its terminals move along straight lines into engagement with their counterparts in the female connector. USE/ADVANTAGE - In construction of electrical switching circuits, connector insertion force can be reduced with use of commonly available male and female terminals.
