The SQUID measuring arrangement has a field measuring system (2) with superconductive detection loops for superconducting quantum interference devices within an active screening chamber (5). Normally conducting compensation coils (Ks) are individually controlled for compensating interference fields, via an electronic control stage. The screening chamber also contains a reference measuring system (7) with superconducting reception loops, for detecting the magnetic field (Kk) at this point. An electronic transformation circuit (W,V,T,S) processes the measured data from the reference measuring system, for controlling the magnetic counter-field provided by the compensation coils. USE - For bio-magnetic field measurements.
